These two images show how shutter speed affects motion and aperture determines depth of field.

I found out why my moon photos were automatically adjusted (brighter and noisier) when uploaded in blogger. It's the auto enhance feature in goole+.

Here is the photos after I turn the auto enhance off.

It's another beautiful afternoon after dinner. While waiting for my son for his piano lesson, I walk to the park nearby.

From far away, I see something interesting on the top of small hill.

It is some guys playing glider.

I come too late. They are packing up and going home.

A mom is playing soccer with her son and dog. I ask the mom if I can take some photos of them and she kindly says yes.

A boy is playing scooter in front of a girl a few hundred meters away. I like their shadows on the wall.

I see the wall and shoot it. It's kind of a boring image but I like the symmetry.

A sculpture in piano teacher's front yard.

If you see my blog a few days ago, you know I shot the moon that afternoon/evening. It is 13th day in lunar calender. The moon is almost full.

Today the weather is so nice. After supper I walk to the pond nearby. The sun gives golden, saturated light on the ground. This is called golden hour by photographers.

I shoot the bird on a branch with aperture wide open so the background is blur.

A goose standing on a rock in the pond.

I am about to go home and see the moon. I use manual mode to shoot the moon, small aperture so both the moon and branches are clear. I expose for the moon so the sky appears dark. It is actually quite bright at this moment.

This image is darker and branches are not glow in photoshop. I have no idea why it is automatically adjusted when I import it to blogger.

Mr. Cute

Last Saturday I photographed this 2-month-old boy. He is very cute.

Mr. Cute with his brother, a handsome young boy.

Hand in hand.

Victoria Park

It's an overcast/cloudy afternoon (which is very good for photographing in mid day) but pretty cold than it was yesterday. I went to Victoria Park for some walk around photos.

First I came to the water front to shoot some ducks.

 And seagulls

Then I went to the playground. Kids were having fun here.

 Be careful, kid. Don't fall.

Kids loved climbing and jumping this rock.

Adults had a good time too.

So did dogs.
